Randburg at a glance

Randburg is well-known within the sprawling metropolitan location of Johannesburg. It is largely the location of many commercial and industrial nodes, however, there are also various locations where people live. From the central business district of Johannesburg, it’s 10.5km away and it’s said to be a 20-minute drive depending. From the OR Tambo International airport which is situated in Kempton Park, it’s a distance of 28.7km and is said to take just under 40 minutes depending on which route is taken and traffic congestion. 

Transport

The Randburg area is well connected via various bus services in Johannesburg as well as the extensive minivan operators that connect various urban and rural areas throughout South Africa. One can take the Metrobus around Randburg as well as hire various forms of privately owned shuttles and taxis. Uber is also popular in the greater Randburg area.
